FirstService Residential: The SMART Ride
November 16 @ 12:00 am - November 17 @ 12:00 am UTC-5
Over the course of two days, November 16th and 17th, I will join hundreds of other individuals and ride my bicycle 165-miles from UMiami to Key West working together to raise much needed funds to help those whose lives are touched by HIV/AIDS. In the past fourteen years, The SMART Ride has raised and returned more than $9.3 million to charities throughout Florida, a full 100% of what the participants raise. This is our 100% guarantee. Why? Because it’s important to the founders that all the money raised by riders and crew be distributed to those in need. This is one of the many reasons why I continue to support The SMART Ride.
“The Ride” benefits those that need access to doctors, specialists and medicines, need assistance with housing and healthy meals or youth that need counseling and a safe environment to gather. This is my seventh ride with a great group of people seeking to make a positive impact on the world. But to stay safe and healthy on The Ride, you must train. Together we can make a real difference, we can help free future generations of living with HIV while helping those already affected, infected or at risk to stay healthy.
This year we reach an important milestone, SmartRide XV. Fifteen years of aiding those in need is a great accomplishment.
Thanks for supporting my goal and enabling me to make this world a little better than I found it. – Rob Pagliaro

SmartRide’s guiding principle is a simple yet powerful one…
“Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world; indeed, it’s the only thing that ever has.” – Margaret Mead, American Cultural Anthropologist
