I Care I Cure I Run – 5k and I Mile Color Run

I Care I Cure Childhood Cancer Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization dedicated to raising awareness and funds for cutting edge research for targeted and less toxic cures for childhood cancer.
The 11th Annual I Care I Cure…I Run event is a major contributor to I Care I Cure’s ability to having been able to fund over $1.6 million in research projects since inception. The walk/run is open to adults and children and welcomes both serious competitors and casual enthusiasts.
The Race features a certified 5K timed and certified race course and medals for race category winners and youth participants. I Care I Cure also offers a Mile Run of Color Fun beginning at 9:00am, in which participants wear white t-shirts and run or walk a mile while experiencing a deluge of safe, nontoxic color. Participants may choose the 5K, the Color Run individually or can participate in both.
The race will be followed by a Family Fun Day with activities for kids, free food and entertainment until 11:30 a.m. at Nova Southeastern University in Davie for all registered participants. Participants may form teams made up of co-workers, friends and/or family. The teams can run for fun or join the Team Challenge. Teams can start earning points immediately after registering. Points are given for the number of participants, fund raising dollars and a variety of fun competitions on race day that are appropriate for all ages. For more information visit www.icareicure.org.
