FirstService Residential is looking for 20 volunteers to lend a helping hand to prepare meals for the annual Big Heart Brigade Thanksgiving Feast. The event brings together thousands of volunteers from South Florida to prepare and distribute individually packaged Thanksgiving meals. Tasks may include setting up tents, fences, cooking side dishes and more! Each Thanksgiving, the Big Heart Brigade, along with over 2,500 volunteers, will feed more than 75,000 people. There are over 60,000 people in New York City homeless shelters, and that does not include those that are living on the streets. American Pool offices are hosting a Sock Drive during the month of December! NEW mens, womens and kids socks are being collected and will be distributed to the area's homeless community. FirstService Residential's Eatontown, NJ office is happy to get involved in this worthy cause. Our local beneficiary is the Ozanam Family Shelter in New Brunswick, NJ, which provides shelter to 16 single women and up to 26 families at any given time.
