California Closets: Volunteers Needed in Atlanta to Support HomeAid Care Day at Jerusalem House

On September 20, from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm EST, eight California Closets Atlanta design consultants will volunteer with Professional Women in Building, part of the Greater Atlanta Home Builders Association, for HomeAid Care Day at Jerusalem House.

Jerusalem House provides housing options, support services, and educational opportunities to low-income and homeless families affected by HIV/Aids with the goal to promote overall self-sufficiency.

All HomeAid Care Day volunteers will assist with a range of key activities. These include landscaping (planting flowers and bushes, and mulching flower beds) and painting (basketball court, patio furniture, and fencing). Volunteers will also help with heavy facility cleaning of the kitchen, play house, and surrounding grounds.

This is an intensive effort and more volunteers are needed! If you know of willing participants in the Atlanta area, please encourage them to lend a hand. Breakfast bars, coffee, water, lunch, and all the necessary tools for the day will be provided. Please click here to volunteer!

Thank you to the entire California Closets Atlanta team! This will be an amazing day and your commitment reflects our ongoing work to bring California Closets’ Credo to life in local communities.
