United Work and Travel Responds to Hurricane Melissa

In the wake of Hurricane Melissa’s devastation, our United Work and Travel team and partners have mobilized to support affected communities across Jamaica.

United Work and Travel, part of The Amenity Collective, partners with recruiters in Jamaica for H-2B and BridgeUSA Summer Work Travel programs, bringing more than 2,600 participants to the U.S. in 2025, including over 700 lifeguards who support our commercial aquatics operations. Our team has organized a series of children’s clothing drives at our Owings Mills headquarters, with donations distributed through local churches and ministries in Jamaica to families in need. We’re also seeing tremendous support from our host company partners: The Dollywood Company‘s Theme Parks, which has provided over $25,000 in assistance to active H-2B workers, and Cedarville Resort, which raised $24,000 to support BridgeUSA participants. It’s inspiring to see so many stepping up to help those impacted by Hurricane Melissa.
