Supporting our internal teams, local communities, and the environment has been an essential component of our corporate philosophy. In 2018, we formalized this commitment under the title “Social Purpose,” introducing initiatives to communicate our dedication and inspire broader engagement in socially responsible activities.

A shared commitment to team support, community engagement, and sustainable operations unifies our subsidiaries. Our Social Purpose program acknowledges and honors the countless contributions made by our teams, whether through company-sponsored initiatives or individual efforts. We encourage all team members to seek out opportunities that align with their interests and values, advancing important causes through volunteering, awareness initiatives, and fundraising activities.

Our efforts are focused around three primary pillars, Our People, Our Community and Our Environment.

PawsFirst Pet Photo Contest

We’re excited to launch our third annual PawsFirst Pet Photo Contest, a fun and impactful way to support local animal rescue efforts.

This November, we invite all pet lovers to join us in making a difference through a simple “submit and support” initiative. We’ve raised over $10,000 for animal rescue groups so far. Let’s see how much more we can raise this year!

As FirstService’s Summer of Service campaign winds down, we highlight key community initiatives from our North American teams. These include FirstService Residential’s toy drive with CP24 CHUM Christmas Wish, First Onsite’s Sheltering Hope animal aid, California Closets’ “Care Closet” for foster families, and Paul Davis’ ongoing blood donation efforts. We also celebrate FirstService Residential’s South Region HQ achieving WELL Certified™ Gold, the East Region’s “Jolt of Joy” project delivering 700 cards to seniors, and feature Leukemia Awareness Month with ways
