The Amenity Collective recently launched a campaign to encourage team members to sign up for recurring payroll donations to the FirstService Relief Fund. The holiday season is a time to reflect on generosity and connection, and through its $1 by One Collective campaign, TAC is encouraging team members to donate $1 per pay period to the FirstService Relief Fund. These donations will help ensure support is there when members of our community need it most.
The campaign successfully doubled the number of recurring payroll donations. This is such a simple yet meaningful way to support colleagues experiencing unexpected financial hardships. To acknowledge this commitment, three participating team members will receive a $100 credit to The Amenity Collective Employee Store. Even though the campaign has ended, team members are still welcome to join the initiative and continue supporting colleagues when it matters most. We wish to extend gratitude to all team members who set up recurring contributions to the FirstService Relief Fund.
About recurring payroll donations
Recurring payroll donations are automatic contributions taken from an employee’s paycheck on a regular schedule — typically biweekly or monthly. This system allows team members to give consistently without needing to take additional steps each time.
These donations are tax deductible in the United States and eligible for a tax credit in Canada, offering an added benefit to those who participate.
When it comes to deciding how much to contribute, even the smallest amount can make a meaningful difference. A single dollar per pay period becomes powerful when multiplied across hundreds or thousands of team members. Steady, predictable contributions — no matter the size — help the organization plan, budget, and ensure funds are available the moment a colleague faces an unexpected hardship. Donors can also feel confident knowing that 100% of every contribution directly supports a team member in need.
