How it works

Summer of Service is all about making a difference, sharing your impact, and inspiring others along the way. Every act of service counts — and every submission earns points.

Simply submit your activities through our online form by:

  • Sharing stories about your volunteer or service experiences
  • Uploading photos from your activities
  • Sharing screenshots or links to social media posts using #FirstServeOthers
  • Telling us about everyday acts of kindness and community impact

The more you participate, the more points you earn!

Monthly Charity Donation Drawing

Every point earned becomes an entry into our monthly $500 charity donation drawing. The more points you earn, the more chances you have to win a donation made in your name to the charity of your choice. We’ll also be tracking brand engagement on our Company Leaderboard.

At the end of the summer, the brand with the highest engagement percentage will have the opportunity to select a charity to receive a $500 donation in their name.

Everyone is welcome to share stories and acts of service. Points and leaderboard participation are available exclusively to employees of FirstService companies.

There are many ways to get involved and earn points for yourself and your company.

    Tell us about your volunteer experiences and the impact you’re making in your community.
  • Do Good Every Day - 10 Points
    Big or small, acts of kindness matter. Share your good deeds and earn points.
  • Spread the Good on Social Media - 5 Points
    Post about your Summer of Service activities on social media using #FirstServeOthers to inspire others and earn points. No matter how you choose to give back this summer, we’d love to hear your story!
