Paul Davis Teams Up with the Red Cross: Strengthening Community Engagement and Support

For over 50 years, Paul Davis has been a trusted leader in the property damage and restoration industry, helping property owners recover from water, fire, mold, storm, and other disasters. In 2024, Paul Davis marked a significant milestone by becoming a sponsor of the American Red Cross Annual Disaster Giving Program. This partnership aligns naturally with their mission to support those in need during challenging times.

As part of this sponsorship, Paul Davis is actively promoting opportunities to support the American Red Cross across its network. Many franchise owners have a history of supporting the Red Cross, with several serving on the boards of their local chapters. Paul Davis encourages teams to engage with their local Red Cross chapters and participate in activities such as Sound the Alarm events and blood drives, further reinforcing their commitment to making a positive impact in the communities they serve.

Team members are invited to support the Red Cross in whatever way works best for them. Paul Davis has identified three ways to give:

  1. Blood donations – Host a blood drive or donate blood through a local chapter
  2. Time – Sign up for volunteer opportunities with the Red Cross. Sound the Alarm events are one great way to give the gift of time.
  3. Fundraise – Assist with fundraising efforts or donate directly.

Monthly webinars hosted by Holly Thode inform and educate about the program and ways to participate. In addition, teams have access to a robust library of communication materials including press releases, social media posts, flyers and graphics provided by the Red Cross.

For those interested in team-building opportunities, the Red Cross offers a wide range of training and certification programs designed to help individuals and organizations prepare for and respond to emergencies. Among the more popular ones are First Aid/CPR/AED Training, Workplace Safety, Mental Health and Psychological First Aid, Disaster Preparedness and Response, Lifeguarding & Aquatics and Babysitting & Childcare. Many of these programs are available online or in a blended learning format, combining online coursework with in-person skill-building sessions.
