Community Unites for CertaPro of the Main Line’s 5K, Surpassing Fundraising Goals for Veterans’ Mental Health

In April, we announced CertaPro of the Main Line’s upcoming 5K to support veterans’ mental health. This month, we are delighted to share a recap of the successful event.

The event united the community, featuring over 30 dedicated volunteers, including students and parents from Lower Merion High School and Sacred Heart Academy. The field was highly competitive, with 260 onsite runners and walkers participating.

CertaPro was one of 40 sponsors for the event, and together, they surpassed their fundraising goal. “We are proud to support such an important cause,” said franchise owner Chris Drucquer. “Veterans have given so much for our freedom, and this is a small way we can honor them and provide the support they deserve. Seeing the community come together, along with our colleagues from Paul Davis, and support from our partners at Sherwin Williams, made this event even more special. We can’t wait to do it again next year!”

Chief Advancement Officer Jason Anhorn of Council for Relationships expressed his gratitude, saying, “We at Council for Relationships were fortunate to partner with Chris Drucquer and his team at CertaPro Painters of the Main Line. With their commitment to community philanthropy and our work in the mental health space, we were able to raise nearly $40,000 to provide direct therapy services to active military, veterans and their families in the Greater Philadelphia area. We look forward to a thriving relationship with CertaPro and the amazing people at FirstService in helping our community flourish and allowing our military families to heal and grow.”
