Meet the “MacDaddies”: Spreading Joy through Community Service

Led by Regional Director, Boca HOA/Garden Style Condo, May Mokdad, the “MacDaddies” team of property management professionals from FirstService Residential goes beyond their regular duties to engage in meaningful community service activities.

From creating cards for the military to bringing smiles to seniors and sick children, the MacDaddies are making a significant impact on the lives of those they serve – and having a blast while they are at it.The group meets quarterly to perform a Social Purpose activity. May recently gathered her team together to express their creative talents during a crafty card making session.

• Emily Nelson, Administrative Assistant – Leisureville in Pompano Beach
• Samantha Baptiste, Portfolio Manager – Koi Residences in Pompano Beach and Strata in Plantation
• Stacey Mushlin, Portfolio Manager – Galt Ocean Club, Kings Park and Bay Colony in Fort Lauderdale
• Brittany Dunn, Portfolio Manager – Karanda Village in Coral Springs and Fountains on Ocean Blvd in Fort Lauderdale
• Victoria Nunez, Property Manager – Atlantic Springs in Coral Springs.

Catherine Clinton even recruited a little helper, her daughter Elena, who happily joined the fun.

May’s leadership approach is to combine team building with service activities whenever she can. Her team is passionate about giving back, and when they join together, their impact is even greater.

“My team is very close knit, and we genuinely enjoy spending time together. I find getting us together to participate in Social Purpose activities a great way to strengthen our team’s bond while doing something meaningful for others,” said May.

What’s next?
