Our second Summer of Service is well underway! As the days grow longer, we have more opportunities to contribute to our communities and unite under the banner of #FirstServeOthers. Our teams are embracing the spirit of service and dedicating their time and energy to a wide array of impactful initiatives.
We’re mobilizing donation drives for our furry friends, creating special cards for sick children and lonely seniors, extending a helping hand at local food banks and homeless shelters, organizing unforgettable fishing trips for our deserving military heroes, and lacing up our sneakers to raise awareness for mental health and Alzheimer’s. The possibilities for involvement really are endless, and our teams are leading the way with their passion and dedication.
In this month’s Spotlight, we highlight these inspiring activities and pay tribute to Rob Francis, CEO of Planned Companies who embodies our Social Purpose through his years of work with Jewish Vocational Services, demonstrating the true impact one person can make.
Lastly, we turn our attention to the FirstService Relief Fund, where we have the privilege of sharing the story of a grant recipient. This remarkable individual shares the incredible journey of her son, a victim of a violent crime.
We hope these stories ignite inspiration within you, and invite you to join us during this Summer of Service. And if you haven’t already, we encourage you to support the FirstService Relief Fund, as every contribution makes a meaningful difference.
Joining in on the fun this Summer of Service is as easy as 1-2-3!
