We’re excited to launch our Summer of Service initiative — a season dedicated to giving back, strengthening our communities, and making a meaningful impact together. If every one person in our family of 30,000 performed just one act of service this summer, that’s not a ripple, that’s a wave of goodness!
Throughout the summer, team members will have opportunities to participate through volunteer events, community outreach efforts, donation drives, everyday good deeds, and service projects that support causes important to the communities we serve. Whether you can contribute a few hours, help a teammate, support a local cause, or participate in multiple activities, every effort makes a difference.
This year, we’re also introducing a new way to recognize and celebrate the incredible contributions of our team members.
To make it easy (and fun), we’ve created simple ways for employees to participate all summer long. Each time you complete an activity and submit your progress on our Social Purpose website at purpose.firstservice.com, you’ll earn points. Every point earned will count as an entry into our monthly drawing to designate a charity to receive a $500 donation in their name!

Big or small, acts of kindness matter. Share your good deeds and earn points.
Spread the Good on Social Media — 5 Points
Post about your Summer of Service activities on social media using #FirstServeOthers to inspire others and earn points.
Every submission shared helps us highlight the positive impact happening across our teams and communities., and allows us to recognize the contributions of our team members.
We’ll also track participation and engagement by company and share progress in real time through our Summer of Service leaderboard. At the end of the summer, the company with the highest overall engagement will earn the opportunity to designate the recipient of an additional $500 charitable donation.
