Paul Davis Restoration Raises Over $350,000 for Child Cancer Fund at 10th Annual Care-a-thon

Paul Davis Restoration team members once again showed their unwavering support for the Child Cancer Fund by raising over $350,000 at the 10th Annual Care-a-thon. The event, hosted by Cox Media Group and 104.5 WOKV news radio, was a two-day live broadcast held at Nemours Children’s Specialty Care in Jacksonville. Paul Davis staff members volunteered their time answering phones, providing data entry assistance, and supporting volunteers, children, and their families.

This year marked the 30th anniversary of the Child Cancer Fund and the 10th anniversary of the Care-a-thon, with the event being on air for more than two days for the first time. “The Care-a-thon was an amazing event,” said Rich Wilson, Paul Davis Restoration’s President. “We are very proud of our team who helped to exceed the fundraising goal.”

The Child Cancer Fund, a non-profit organization founded in 1994 by Paul Davis’ Laura Ferrante, Esq., provides educational, financial, and support services for families facing a child’s cancer diagnosis and treatment.

“Paul Davis Restoration has supported the Care-a-thon since its inception and the event has become a favorite volunteer opportunity for the team,” said Ferrante. “It is humbling and I am so grateful to my Paul Davis family.”

Since 2015, the Care-a-thon has raised over $2.7 million for the Child Cancer Fund, enabling them to provide essential services such as play activities at hospitals, financial assistance, educational materials, and family weekends at Camp Boggy Creek.
