Mission

The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation (NFFF) is a nonprofit created to honor firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to support their families. Their work goes beyond memorials—they help families cope with loss through counseling, peer support, and scholarships for spouses and children. Every year, NFFF hosts the National Fallen Firefighters Memorial Weekend, giving families a chance to come together and remember their loved ones. They also run programs like the Fire Hero Family Network and partner with fire departments to improve safety and reduce firefighter injuries. On top of that, NFFF organizes community events like stair climbs and golf tournaments to raise funds and awareness. Their goal is simple: make sure fallen heroes are never forgotten and give their families the care and resources they need to move forward.

“Our main Social Purpose is raising money for the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. It’s a cause that we’ve believed in for a long time. We work very closely with our local fire departments, and we’ve seen the struggles that they go through to put their lives on the line every day for their community. The main avenue that we support the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation through is the Metro Atlanta Firefighter of Classic Golf Tournament. We started that tournament in 2020, and it was a way for the industry to come together and raise funds for this charity. And we also invited firefighters to come out and golf with us and found companies to sponsor these firefighter teams. Through the course of the years of putting on this event, we’ve grown it exponentially year after year to the point that we are now the largest golf tournament in the nation supporting the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. In fact, just about a month ago, we raised over $75,000 for that charity.”
