Mission

Valerie’s House supports children and families grieving the loss of a loved one, helping them heal together and move forward with hope. As Southwest Florida’s first organization dedicated solely to grieving children, Valerie’s House offers peer support, mentorship, and a safe community where families can find connection after loss. Donations help fund support groups, mentoring, family assistance, and grief resources so children know they do not have to face loss alone.

“Valerie’s House is an extraordinary organization that provides critical support for children and families experiencing loss. Grief can feel incredibly isolating, especially for a child. Valerie’s House creates a community where children and families can share their experiences, find support, and begin to heal together. The impact of that kind of connection is truly life-changing. Since we began supporting Valerie’s House, we have seen firsthand the difference they make, as some of our own employees and their families have benefited from the care, resources, and sense of community the organization provides. We are honored to have helped create a special space for grieving families to heal together.”
