Welcome to the latest edition of Spotlight! In this issue, we are highlighting some of the innovative ways our teams are connecting with colleagues and customers in light of the challenges brought on by the pandemic. From culture building activities, to adapting service through the use of virtual tools, our teams put safety at the forefront of everything they do, and are discovering new ways to engage now and in the future.
We are also looking at social injustice, starting with ways to identify our own implicit biases and the importance of listening to the stories of those whose life experiences may be different from ours. We have curated a selection of resources designed to educate and inform, and have also provided links to tools parents can use to have conversations about race with their children.
Learning about unconscious, or “implicit” bias, helps deepen our understanding of others’ experiences, inspiring conversations about ways we can all play a role in creating positive change within our communities.
