Mission

Children’s Home Network is dedicated to helping children and families overcome difficult circumstances and build stronger, more stable futures. Through a broad range of programs and services, the organization provides the support, resources and opportunities families need to strengthen relationships, navigate challenges and thrive.

For children growing up in foster care, having a safe place to live is only the beginning. They also need encouragement, a sense of belonging and people who believe in their potential. This support becomes especially important as young people prepare to leave foster care and navigate adulthood—often without the family safety net many of their peers can rely on.

By helping young people develop the skills, confidence and connections they need to move forward, Children’s Home Network is investing not just in where they are today, but in everything they have the potential to become.

“I know firsthand how difficult it can be to grow up in foster care and how uncertain the future can feel, especially as you prepare to age out of the system. Children’s Home Network was part of my own journey, and I understand how important it is for young people in care to have a safe place, support and people who believe in their potential. Foster care is part of a child’s story, but it does not have to define their future. Children should never carry the weight of circumstances they did not create. With love, guidance, stability, and people who believe in them, they can grow beyond where they’ve been and build a life, they are proud of. Every child deserves to know that they are loved—even by those of us who may never have the privilege of knowing them personally. As a community, it is our responsibility to remind our youth that they are seen, they are valued, and their lives matter. Foster care may be where their story began, but it does not determine how their story ends. Being able to give back to an organization that was there for me—and hopefully help another young person see what is possible for their own future—means more to me than I can put into words. “

How To Support

Donate

When you give to Children’s Home Network, you pave the way for children and families to have a future of hope and promise. When you give, everyone wins: the children, the families, and the community!

Volunteer

Volunteers are an invaluable part of Children’s Home Network. From its community of committed supporters, they seek dedicated volunteers to enhance and supplement their programs and services. Volunteer opportunities are available for both individuals and groups.

Engagement Opportunity

The Children’s Home Network is looking for the next generation of professionals interested in putting their talents to use to help children and families. The new Young Professionals Committee will be made up of devoted professionals from a variety of industries that support CHN’s mission through volunteerism, awareness, and fundraising. Members will also receive opportunities to develop personal and professional networks, while developing an enduring relationship with CHN.
