The heat may be reaching its peak, but that’s nothing compared to the heights members of the FirstService family have gone to as they continue to make a difference through acts of service. We are officially midway through our Social Purpose Summer of Service campaign, and FirstService team members from all brands remain as committed as ever to contribute in any capacity that makes a positive difference for people, communities and the environment.
Several members of the California Closets’ Human Resources Team took some time off on July 15-16 to lend a helping hand to hometown organizations committed to doing good in the world.
Paul Davis supported the Jacksonville Humane Society with both donations and volunteerism this July. Between our Corporate Home Office and Paul Davis Restoration of North Florida, we supported the Jacksonville Humane Society with almost 30 hours of dog walking, which provides a critical service to the animals and allows for improved health and enrichment while they are awaiting adoption.

Many of us have HHW in our homes and don’t know how to manage it. Proper and safe disposal of HHW is not only important for our environment, but also for our own health and safety.

On Tuesday, July 26, several FCI employees participated in a stream cleanup at the Gwinnett County Crooked Creek Resource Facility located less than 2 miles from our offices in Norcross.
My colleague, Bailey MacDonald, and I were very fortunate to have the opportunity to attend the Virginia National Fallen Firefighter Foundation Golf Tournament sponsored by Paul Davis of Northern Virginia. It was a truly memorable event, and a wonderful tribute to fallen fire heroes.
