For our 2021 Social Purpose Recap Video we took a different approach than in year’s past. This time we sought testimonials from our own team members sharing how and why they #FirstServeOthers.
What motivates you to make a difference in your community? What are some of the little things you do to brighten a colleague’s or neighbor’s day? What causes and issues inspire you to take action? We want to hear from you!
One of the best ways to amplify our Social Purpose message is by tagging social media posts with #FirstServeOthers. We began tracking mentions on social media this past summer and are happy to see our hashtag has been almost 700 times! So which platform is most popular? Whose accounts are most actively using our hashtag?
Financial hardships can affect any of us at any time. That’s why we established the FirstService Relief Fund in 2018. In 2018, we awarded 29 grants. Last year that number jumped to 418! Through the generosity of our FirstService Relief Fund donors, we have been able to help nearly 1,700 team members.
Now that life is returning to a more normal cadence, many of our teams have had the opportunity to join together at Brand conferences,. Hosting poker tournaments is a popular way to bring teams together and support a great cause.
