What’s new for 2019

2018 was an incredible year for the FirstService family of companies.  While giving back to our communities and helping those in need has always been a priority for us, in 2018 we gave it a name, Social Purpose, and launched our events calendar and dedicated #FirstServeOthers hashtag as a way to inspire others to join us. The enthusiasm for Social Purpose was contagious, and we loved seeing how our teams incorporated it into the fabric of their organizations.

Collectively, we participated in well over 200 events and through the FirstService Relief Fund were able to provide much needed support to our people facing personal financial hardships.

So, what’s new for 2019?  We have further defined our Social Purpose to represent our collective commitment to three pillars,  Our People, Our Community, and Our Environment. These pillars provide a more holistic view of our Social Purpose and help us ensure we are focusing our efforts in these critical areas.

In addition, we’ve redesigned our Social Purpose website to provide more information on our commitment to our three pillars, along with ideas on ways you can become more engaged in Social Purpose in your area. We have also included a special message from Scott Patterson you’ll want to read.
