FirstService Residential New York employees embraced the spirit of Summer of Service by volunteering their time to support local students.

Employees from nine FirstService companies joined courageous first responders on September 7, 2024, to honor the lives lost on 9/11. Over 100 participants climbed 110 flights at the Sovereign, Atlanta’s tallest residential tower, mirroring the heroic ascent made by first responders on that tragic day.

Paul Davis Restoration team members once again showed their unwavering support for the Child Cancer Fund by raising over $350,000 at the 10th Annual Care-a-thon.

On August 22nd, 34 team members from FirstService Residential Canada (North Region), LIVunLtd and FirstService Corp our team came together for a special volunteer event at the Toronto Zoo as part of this year’s Summer of Service initiative. That afternoon, participants rolled up their sleeves and dedicated their time to an environmental cause; removing invasive plant species and replanting native ones to help restore the zoo’s ecosystem.

October 1 marks the start of CertaPro’s sixth annual Paint it Pink campaign, aimed at raising funds for breast cancer research in partnership with the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) and Breast Cancer Canada. Since its inception in 2019, the campaign has raised $555,000, funding approximately 11,000 hours of critical research through the BCRF.

We are grateful for our Relief Fund grant recipients who willingly share their stories with us. We’ve been featuring them in our Spotlight newsletters as a way to raise awareness of the Relief Fund and of some of the circumstances under which a team member may apply for assistance.

Thanks to Andrea Johnson who shared her inspiring story of how she supports children’s educational needs in her home country of Jamaica through an innovative back to school supply drive.
